The DGA is made of three sections, which are Compliance, Licensing and Policy and Finance. On top of that, the body also has a different category, which regulates the Danish brick-and-mortar casinos.
Strictness
Thanks to its unwavering stance on compliance, DGA has earned itself a solid reputation. It is not very far from, say, the UK Gambling Commission. Historically, this body has been known to take action against illegal casinos, withdrawing their licenses in some cases. It is this strictness that gives the Danish casino players peace of mind when playing at DGA-licensed casinos.
License Requirements
For any casino to be licensed by the DGA, it must meet all the requirements set out by the organization. For instance, the casino must have concrete measures in place for responsible gambling. This way, players will control what they do once they log into their casino accounts. In addition, having a privacy policy and game fairness are yet other areas thoroughly scrutinized by the DGA before licensing.
